Sun Feb 12 Remembering Others 3:00 - 5:00pm at St. Mark's. Remembering Others by making Valentine Cards, magnets, Thinking of You soup and cookies. Supper Provided. Possibly work on Lock-In decorations and activities.

This is a Mountain Top Youth event, but everyone is welcome to come. Leaving Sabillasville at 9 a.m. Call Alisha Yocum (241-3418) for details and to sign up.

Sat Oct 29 Community Bingo Fun Nite - Cancelled due to Snow 4:30 - 6:30pm at St. John's Parish Hall Free to play. Everyone invited. Includes a Light Supper.

Sat Oct 15 Pumpkins 'n' Pizza Party Help is needed to Decorate the Hall at 9am
6:30-8:30pm at St. Mark's Hall. Enter by the Rear Door. Music, games, craft, costume judging, piņatas. Must be at least 3rd Grade to stay alone. The Community is welcome to attend. Call either church to help decorate or to have your name put on a joint Youth Group mailing list.

Sat Aug 20 The Sabillasville Community Picnic
sponsored by St. John's UCC
Will be held at Willard Pavilion beginning at 3 p.m.
There will be Sandwiches, French Fries, Soup, Drinks, Ice Cream and Pie. Games for the kids, Raffles
Cruise-In of Vintage and Classic vehicles and Music by Dave Snader.
Items needed for bake table; Rice Krispie Squares, Brownies, Cakes, etc. Much help is needed!!!
Bring an OLD tool, small machine, or kitchen utensil to display at the picnic and receive free special hand made ice cream.
Donations for items to be raffled are also welcome. Suggestions: Gift cards, a new item you don't plan to use, a craft item made by you, etc.

Vacation Bible School
at St. John's
6:15-8:30 p.m. daily. Will you help? Please see Jim, Viola, or the Pastor. "Inside Out, Upside Down on Main Street - the Parables of Jesus." Classes available for preschool thru 7th grade. Adult assistance is needed and encouraged. Cash donations can be placed in the collection plate along with the number of your envelope. Help is requested to set up next Sunday afternoon. If you want to help, there will be a spot for you.

Mountain Top Youth Tent Camping Caledonia State Park. Fri 6pm Supper July 15 through Sun Breakfast July 17. Games, hiking, swimming, crafts, movie, Campfire Church, lots of good fun & games. Do you need a Tent? Day Visitors are welcome or for Sat evening especially. Anyone under 18 must have a Permission Slip. Click for Permission Slip & Information Packet Must be over 3rd Grade to go alone. The cost is $5. Chaperones for Sat. night are needed.

Sun May 15 CANCELLED due to Weather: Youth Activity - Hike & Picnic Meet at St. Mark's at 12:30 and then off to Codorus Park near Hanover. There will be one meal - lunch - grilled there about 1:15. Picnic, paddleboats, hiking, disc golf, etc. Pray for good weather! Chaperones and grill people are needed. If you need a ride or directions, see Pastor Comings or Terry. Feb 2011 Valentine Movie Night THANKS to those who helped with and participated in the youth-group-sponsored Valentine Movie Night.

Sat Feb 12 A Valentine Movie Night 6:30pm at St. Mark's. A joint Mountain Top Youth group event. Fresh popcorn, candy, and other movie-type snacks provided. Cost for admission is an item or cash for Help Hotline food bank. Bring friends, neighbors, relatives or anyone else you can think of. Please get your "ticket" by February 11 so food can be provided accordingly but you're still welcome at the door.

Sun Nov 21 Praisefest at Hawley Memorial at 6:30 p.m. St. Mark's choir is singing. You are invited to sing with them. They will be singing The Butterfly Song and Blessed Be Your Name (from VBS). Kids are needed.

Sat Oct 30 Community Bingo Community Bingo at St. John's Parish Hall (separate building just off Rt 550 on Harbaugh Valley Rd) from 4:30-6:30. Free to play and eat. Light Supper provided. Bring an item for the local food bank if you can. This is not a fund raiser, just FUN!

Tuesday, June 15 Roll 'n' Bowl 6:30pm Beginning with picnic at Red Run Park, Rouzerville, PA. Picnic and then across the street to bowl. Burgers, Dogs, Plates, Drinks provided. Bring a food item to share. You may come along to just watch. $6 for two ten pins games and shoes. Skating is $1.

 

Bike 'n' Hike RAINED OUT. HOPE TO RESCHEDULE IN AUGUST. Meet at St. Mark's and then off to C&O Canal. For young people and young at heart. Ends with a picnic. Transport vehicles for bikes, grill masters, adult chaperones are needed. Please see Terry or the Pastor.

Magic Show St. John's will host a Magic Show by John Carrington at 6 p.m. FREE! Live animals, ventriloquist, juggling, balloons, comedy, tricks, puppets, and snacks!!! Everyone is invited.

Sat Apr 03 Egg Hunt 10:00am St. John's with craft and snack - rain or shine.
The egg hunt will be followed by a snack and making a Christian craft in the Parish Hall. Small wrapped candy and plastic eggs are requested. Please let Pastor Janet know if you can help.

Sat Mar 27 Spring Community Bingo Fun Nite 4:30-6:30 at St. John's Parish Hall. Turn off Harbaugh Valley Rd off Rt 550 Small 1 story building on left. Everyone welcome, free to play, prizes, light supper. Not a fund raiser!

Held at St. John's Parish Hall. Starts 6:30pm with Supper. Must have signed Permission Slips, when they are dropped off. Click for Permission Slip May stay for less than overnight. See Pastor Janet or Terry Gift. Lock-In will include music, crafts, games, movies, talk, ping pong, snacks, midnight church and pizza at 1 a.m. Invite friends. Adult chaperones are needed and help to clean up Saturday morning.

Sun Feb 21 Cabin Fever Breakout 3-5:30pm Choice of several activities: make "Thinking of You" Crafts, Soup & Cookies for Shut-ins & others. Card Games etc. Ends with Spaghetti Supper. Adult help welcome. RSVP to Pastor Comings would be helpful.
